一昨年6月にオープンしたイタリアンレストラン「ANTEVORTE」は、“サロン”をテーマに全席ソファのレストランである。今回、貸切対応のため40席のパーティールームを増床することになった。個室ならではの、インパクトとユーモアのある空間をイメージした。大きな梁型と低い天井の事務所は、ブラックのスケルトンで存在感を消し、連続するオークのスリットで空間に奥行と天井への抜け感を与えた。また、トリックアート作家、小薮昭司氏とのコラボレーションで、コカコーラのボトルを使った「POP ART」を製作、パーティールームの守り神となっている。

The theme of the Italian restaurant “ANTEVORTE”, opened in July, 2012, is “salon” and thus all customers’ seats are sofas. This time, the restaurant expanded its floor space with 40 more seats in order to meet a request for a private party plan. We tried to give an impact and humor to the expanded space as a private room. The presence of a previous office space with a huge beam and low ceiling was eliminated by making it to skeleton in black. Continuing oak slits add a depth and sense of openness to the space. We also collaborated with a trick art creator Mr. Shoji Koyabu for making “POP ART” with Coke bottles which became a guardian in the room.(Shingo Abe / brownbag lab. Inc.）
